Rama Camp (Muay Thai – Muay Boran)
Rama Camp is a school of traditional arts (muay thai – muay boran) located in the vicinity of Geraka. Founded in 2004 by Kru Kostas Theodoulou who holds the 12th khan (master level) from the kru muay thai association which is responsible for the proper spread of the art around the world. Like an athlete kru Kostas Theodoulou has global distinctions not only in sports but also in the educational part. He is student of Grand Master Sane Tumbtimtong one of the greatest living masters in the field of muay thai.
The main purpose of the school is to spread the sport of Muay Thai in both the fighting and the traditional level. Within the learning it is kept the basic philosophy of sport and is cultivated the basic principles of competition and fair amylas. Vision of the school is learning martial arts and basic sport concepts deriving therefrom. Following this way, it will generate learning the principles of discipline, self-respect and teamwork from young age, which will form the basis for further shaping of the personality of children.
In the dynamic of the school are great athletes with world distinctions such as: Alexander Milos, Petros Papoutsakis, Giorgos Papoutsakis, Balmas Alexandros. The school has a large number of discrimination in major competitions such as: European Championship in Bulgaria WMF (2 silver and 1 gold medal), national championship 2013 (RECS 3 gold) & 2014 (WMF 3 gold and 1 bronze), Championship Melbourne 2015 (1 Gold Cup). Also the school’s athletes are participating in competitions of Thailand, which is also the source of Muay Thai, conquering the top places in competitions while participating in demonstrations of traditional Muay thai (Muay Boran).
